First MAP! I heard TheFatRat's new song and absolutely LOVED it! So I made a MAP for it! It's funny, I've known how to make a MAP for a long time, I've just never gotten around to it. But now I finally have! But of course, I need to lay down some rules. -- RULES: •Actually read the rules. Don't skip down to the bottom or say the same codeword as the comment(s) below you. Also please read the edits, they're rules too! •I'm trying out something with this MAP! There will be an EAO half, but also a half that welcomes ALL ANIMATORS! •Your experience is NOT based on your follower count or your art. It's based on my personal opinion of your ANIMATIONS. •Link at least 2 of your BEST/RECENT animations unless I invite you. DON'T LINK PMVs. THEY AREN'T ANIMATIONS. •Feel free to use a different program! •Only use vector if you're in the All Animators part or you really have to. •Please only use up to 2 sprites! •Use a watermark (a logo that goes in the bottom corner of the screen). If you don't have one, handwrite your name (or type if you have really terrible handwriting) •Two parts per person! (in both parts) This may change if parts are being taken very slowly. EDIT: Parts are being taken quite quickly actually,, I don't think I'll change this rule haha •Follow the palette! •There is a thing you have to say to get in. It's inside. Say it AND the codeword/phrase at the bottom. •Transitions make the animation flow nicer, smooth animation or not, so I recommend you use them. •Use lineart! You can only fill things in if they're SMALL (take up a third or less of your character's whole body, or a sixth or less of the whole screen) or if they're a transition. •If you do PMV, only have it take up to about half or less of your part. •Actually animate. •This isn't necessarily a rule, but I would like it if you stuck to one or more of the following themes: •Suspension (not touching ground, for at least some of your part) •Letting go of past fears •Adventure •You CAN join both EAO and AAW, but you can't have the same part in both of them (I do only because I'm the host). This will count as both of your parts. If you start out with an AAW part, you have to have another AAW part if you want to do any other part. •Your deadline is 10 weeks (70 days) after you get your part. I think this is plenty of time to finish, but if you fail to meet this deadline for some odd reason, I can give you up to 2 weeks of extension. Unless you have some sort of looong vacation or something that lasts 1-2 months, but I'm not giving you an extension if it's only 1-2 weeks long. •This does NOT mean post a WIP after 10 weeks. The whole, finished part. •Don't rush your part! Yes, it would be nice to get your part in the day you get it, but you probably could do better on your part. •That being said, put actual effort into your part! •Please use your own OCs (original characters that YOU created). •Include a lot of movement in your part! •Two colors maximum per character. •If you fail to any follow these rules in your part (except codeword)... •EAO, you'll get two chances to fix it if it's before the deadline. If not, you can get an extension. If it's after an extension or you don't fix it the first time, I'm sorry, but you'll be kicked. •AAW, same thing, but you'll get three chances to fix it. •If you get the outro, say something like "Thanks for watching," "End," or "Fin" in your part •Please don't comment saying you're done,, I get an actual message when you ARE done saying that you remixed thank you very much •Criteria for EAO backups is exactly the same as if you were getting a part in it. •Only one backup per part -- although you can sign up to be a backup for any part. •If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments! •Sorry for wasting your time with all these rules lol •Codeword is the phrase "Fly away with me" All the parts are aBOUT the same length, don't worry (some are a bit longer than the average length, which is about 6.5 seconds) EDIT: Please make your part a remix or I'll probably think you didn't finish your part, if you posted your part before June 24th then it's fine! EDIT 2: Don't throw a fit about not getting into EAO, seriously. You're suddenly at a very high risk of being kicked/not let into the MAP if you do this. Really. But I practice so much! I hear you saying. Everyone takes a different amount of time to get really good at animation. Some take a month, while others can take years. It's about passion, dedication, and how you practice (or whether you're practicing the right way)
