Ok so short story about Glass's backstory: Glass hid under the snowy cave where her parents had left her, promising to be back before midnight, which was close. All was peaceful, so she rested in a dip in the ground, fur fluffed out. She soon fell asleep to the quiet cave. She woke up to see guards storming through her cave, grabbing her parents. Her father lashed out at one, which stuck a spear in his side. The guards dragged her parents away, but one stayed behind to help Glass up. It carried her away, through the sectors, to Sector 6, her future home.
I honestly forget the sector, I think it's Sector 1? One of the snowy ones, at least. Their cave is a small gap in the snow they dug out. Glass's family switched caves every week, so they were hard to track, what with the snow and constant moving.
