hey guys, it's me, maplepancakes. overall, 2017 has been a good year so far filled with suprises: i've met the love of my life, i've improved in my art skills and had made a short animated film for my class, everything new in that matter. scratch was also a supporting part of that positivity; i've met great people, tried tons of new things and learned new things. as my school year was coming to an end, things got much harder for me and i had to focus on where i wanted to go to high school, what sports and activities i wanted to play and do. things also started to go downhill fast as well. i was getting anxiety attacks more and more often from all the work i needed to do. i had to sacrifice my reputation to keep myself stable. i began to feel very sad and thought of hurting myself both mentally and physically from all the things that were happening. my parents were concerned, my friends were concerned, i was concerned. i felt so done with everything and i left scratch and many other social medias to get myself on track once again. i helped myself by getting myself back into art again, for the previous months i have done nothing productive in my passion for art, and i needed to improve if i wanted to get in the art school i always wanted to be in. over the two- or three - months i have improved immensely both traditional and digital, and i am ready to show the world and most importantly my fans that i have moved on to a new level and era of my art. -the problem is, i don't have the time... or even the motivation. the reason why i have made this project is to let you know that i will possibly leave scratch due to uninterest and high school, but i will come back once in a while to bring animations, art, and updates. my memes are done folks btw heh i had so much fun making them,, thank you everyone for giving me happiness and experience making projects on scratch. i love every single one of my fans and i want to let you know that i have not died out and we will let the fire of pancakes rise. i will come soon and show you what im capable of. thank you, i love you all. -maplepancakes
