Click on the dots to see the city click a second time to go back to map. Ice Castle (1): The ice castle is a glittering spire of ice that is home to a large portion of the ice kingdom's population. Wedged between the shear cliffs of the cost, it spills over them and onto the plateau on top. But don't let the apparent chaos fool you. The ice kingdom is the most organised kingdom on the contain. At night it glows blue. lit with water from an enchanted spring. The spring make the water glow blue, workers freeze it and ship it to all the reaches of the kingdom, keeping the ice kingdom well lit despite the lack of fire. Sky castle (2): Home of the skywing royal family. Many rooms are carver from the cliffs, for the royalty and army of staff that keep them safe, well fed and entertained. The core of the staff is the guard corps, responsible for the surviving 2 heirs to the throne (see the skywing project) Each engraving of gold signals the wealth of the tribe. Mines below the palace produce most of the gold and gems of the continent. The working conditions aren't great but the sheer amount of wealth that can be gained keeps dragons coming back despite the many dragons lost in the mines each year. Arena (2): The arena is where all criminals end up when caught. Given the skywings are not at war, it's mostly filled with normal crooks and thieves. Arena battles are hosted at the capital of the skywing nation, the palace, where the queen watches them for amusement. If a prisoner's wins enothe battles they are given a chance to battle for there freedom. If they beat the champion, normally the most skilled fighter in the realm they may go free. Sea castle (3): The Sea castle is one of the great marvels of the dragon world, which makes it a shame that only seawings can visit it. The elegant castle has a near infinite number of rooms. Dark winding tunnels that would be terrifying for any other breed of dragons are great for the seawing who can see in complete darkness. The walls are studded with pearls and shells. Ornate swirl patterns are carved into the walls, copying the swirl of the royal family. The army of dragons it took to build it lives across the bridge, not far from the castle so they may admire the work of their ancestors. The Frost Wall (4): The Frost Wall is a set of outposts along the edge of Skywing territory. It was built to guard against the icewing. Most working as a skywing soldiers dread the idea of living there full time. The constant icy wind and freezing rain make it mostly unbearable. Massive furnaces heat the living and working quarters. A supply of dry wood must be shipped to the outposts nearly constantly. Because of the soldiers stuck there, may dragons bring goods there to sell to the captive audience that is the soldiers. The Stone Island (5): The above water home of the seawings, it is enchanted. The lighthouse is linked to 5 bracelets. When the lighthouse glows they do as well. Using this the seawing military can use it to send messages to their most important commanders as well as the queen herself. Being a largely military island this is useful. The island was given its name because of its origin. The Stone Island is mostly dragon made, giving it a gray apprentice. Its many inhabitants have tried to grow plants on it in the past with no success. Its also home to The Iron Keep, the above water home of the seawing royal family. Lacking the fine art of the sea palace, it's mostly used to house important guests, royalty from across the continent have stayed in its many rooms. Diamond Spray Delta (6): Home of the poor mudwing, it's a messy bog. Many dragons are often crammed into small mud huts on what little solid ground is available. The past war has made food space but so long as there is mud there will be mudwings. Sandwing Stronghold (7): Rather than the typical elegant castles of the other tribes the sandwing royalty lives in a thick walled fortress. The blunt and flat apprentice of the stronghold does not go all the way inside. Each room is excellently decorated with tapestry and rugs, each of the finest quality. While a portion of the stronghold is for the royal family only there are may dragons that live in the housing provided there. Soldiers ready to defend the stronghold at all costs and a few are citizens who chose to live in the safely of the walls. Its cramped, most dragons only get one small room per dragon but the protection from the gangs of the sand kingdom it worth the price for those who live there. Mud castle (8): The mud castle is the a memorial to the animus war. Large rock spike surround the castle, meant to keep the other tribes out (see history/myths). Scorch marks and craters liter the inner courtyard of the castle. Despite this the castle is still a popular spot for venders. Stands out front sell anything from mangoes to jewelry.
The Edge (9): The Edge is where the sea kingdom ends and the wilds of the sea begin. A sharp drop of marks the beginning of an odd but beautiful would. Masses of glowing jellyfish are the only light in the dark depths. Few dragons live out here and the ones that do are normally outcasts or exiled from the sea kingdom. Few venture out beyond this point seeing as its ruled by colossal squids that if angered can kill a dragon. Scorpion Den (10): The scorpion den is a hive of scum and villany. Many dragons that live there are on the run or desperate for money. Despite the the fact the there are none of the queen's troops to enforce the law it's fairly peaceful because of the gangs that enforce the law. Unless the gangs are at war they help the dragons that live there, providing access to the watering hole near the center of the city and keeping the water clean. Because of this the community thrives and many venders line the narrow streets city. Cougo orchards (11): The Cougo orchards are where most of the contanit’s fruit comes from. Excellent sun mixed with the dampness of the rainforest makes the rain kingdom an ideal place to grow plants but the rich soil of the Cougo area makes it more that ideal for plant growth. Farmers who live in the area are often friendly. The community often hosts festivals to get to know the others in their area. The fruit is shipped of to all corners of the continent by currer dragons often frozen in the frost breath of an icewing to keep it fresh. The Sun City (12): The Sun City is a vibrant glowing model for all the nations. Built after the war to calm mistrust between the tribes, each tribe send some troops to keep the peace. The mingling of the tribes produces a lot of hybrids in this city. Some dragons find this vile but most have accepted crossbreed marriage as a reality here. Each tribe has a district that contains all the comforts of home and the base of their tribes guards. A lake forms the seawing district and a bog at the edge of the lake belongs to the mudwings just beyond a forest forms the rainwing district and the whole thing is surrounded by a ring of rock spires. The bottom of the spire are quit cold, forming at the icewing district, the temperate middle is ideal for the nightwings and the top belongs to the skywing. Just outside the spires the sandy dunes belong to the sandwings. Night Capital (13): Given the small size of the night kingdom you would think it would be crowded like the sandwing stronghold but the elegant design of the night capital makes it actually a fairly spacious city. Ample room for the royalty to live and a large and thriving population makes this an even bigger marvel. Nightwing architects are constantly destroying old buildings and replacing them with more efficient ones. Still they have room for the biggest library on the continent and plenty of schools for the youth. Flower castle (14): The flower castle is the home of the rainwing royal family. Built in the tallest tree in the jungle, the view is amazing. Some couples fly up to the branches above the castle to have romantic picnics. The royal family and staff are fine with this so long as it's not sunning hour. On sunning hour all the staff, royalty and other invited dragons gather on the top branches of the castle, while the other citizens of the kingdom gather on lower platforms to to lay in the sun and recharge their scales. Even the prisoners are released from their cell woven into the roots of the trees and guided to a special cell that lets them capture the few rays of sun that reach the forest floor.
