At my school, there's an activity called 'Dollar Words'. The way it works is: The teacher shows the class some pictures. The students have to guess a word related to the picture, that when A=1, B=2, C=3, etc. its letters will add up to 100. The first student or group to figure out the word gets candy. The project is self-explanatory, but here's the instructions: 1. Type in words that may or may not be 'Dollar Words', separating them with commas, then press Enter or click the check-mark. 2. The project figures out which words are 'Dollar Words' and which are not. 3. If any of the words were 'Dollar Words', they show up onscreen in the list 'Dollar Words'. If not, a prompt opens, letting you try more words.
