Can Cat dodge the balloons filled with paint? Using the Up and Down arrow keys can Cat dodge them for 20 seconds and win the game? If Cat gets hit 5 times --- Cat loses. Oh, every time Cat gets hit by a balloon it gives Cat a whole new color! The Hits are in the right corner at the top of the screen; the time clock is down at the bottom.
This project started with Cat and one balloon. And then two balloons. And then three. A variable "hits" keeps count of the hits. But then to make the player able to win there had to be a timer. Another variable: seconds. There was a big problem: while the balloons were in the air Cat could win for 20 seconds, but also get hit a fifth time -- so Cat could win and lose at the same time! So the balloons have to keep checking to see if 20 seconds have passed. I hope Scratchers enjoy the game! (There are hundreds of Dodge Ball games at Scratch!) ---Larry828
