aa MeowHouse said I should do a drawing process video, so I did it with their Steven Universe OC! (I'm so sorry if I got the colors wrong :0) Ok!! Lemme explain a bit: I use a black pencil tool for the sketch, usually at just a point 2 size. I like to start out with circles for the chest, hips, and head to make sure the proportions aren't too off. I've started using neon lineart to make sure the lines are easily visible and separated for when I color them. I almost always fill it in neon pink to make sure I get in all the corners. This works 9/10 times and has saved me a bunch :> After the flat colors, I color the lineart a bit more red and darker than the original ones. I also add some shading. Effects!! I love the multiply and overlay layers, usually multiply at 20-30% and overlay at 60-80%. Some extra shines, a fancy background tm, and you've got your own mewals art!!
