Failord proudly presents... one of his most epic projects: Laser Battle 2.0! This is the totally remade and redone version of one of my very first projects. I simply couldn't scrap the idea, and there were millions of ways to make it better. Notice it's not a remix. I literally started from Scratch. (As in a new project.) Please read the rest of the notes before commenting or remixing. Instructions are in-game. And PLEASE DO NOT REMIX WITHOUT MAJOR CHANGES. Thank you! Credit to the following: Twiddlemaster for music! (Pi2345 for trying!) SoundBible.com for the awesome free sounds! 777atscratch for curating! My sisters for testing and feedback. The Scratch Team for Scratch 2.0! This project couldn't have been half as awesome in 1.4. This latest and greatest version has all kinds of brand-new features and improvements: Vector graphics! Pivoting control to make more dynamic gameplay! In-project Help section that also includes a powerup guide! Settings section that allows customization of the gameplay! 5 new powerups, and revamping of the 3 old ones! Improved indicators! Singleplayer mode, in which you battle artificial intelligence(AI)! Full sound-over! Much improved sensing and smooth movement! Menu for clear, easy access of all features! "Endmenu" after finishing a round! Pause menu! If you're interested in what the first version was like, here's a link: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/2309463 More than 90% of this project was made using Scratch 2.0. More than 80% of the graphics are Vector. All components (besides sounds) of this project are 100% original. About the artificial intelligence- Instead of making it all part of the blaster sprites, it's actually handled in a sprite of it's own that hangs onto the blaster and essentially presses keys. Therefore, the AI is entirely subject to the same controls as a real player. Secrets of Singleplayer: In the "pick side" menu, when you hover the mouse over the bottom of the screen, you can toggle difficulty and go back to the main menu. Yes, you can't control the AI. It reminds you which side you are instead.
