Instructions

To change the values of a, h, k in y = a(x - h)^2 + k Change value of h --> left & right arrows Change value of k --> up & down arrows Change value of a --> Q and Z keys Negate a --> A key Reset values --> R key (reset to a=1, h=0, k=0 aka y=x^2) [Remember: (h, k) will always be the coordinates of the vertex!]

Description

Mathland Project Ideas: (Ontario Mathematics curriculum, Grade 10) 1. Instead of the parabola as the parent function, remix to use another function in this program. 2. Remix to automatically adjust values for a, h, k so that the parabola transformations are animated.
