I really enjoy this song. I find it oddly eerie and peaceful at the same time. Which shouldn't make sense, but somehow does. One thing I really enjoy about the song is it's constant and predictable rhythm. So I made a project to reflect the predictability and sereneness I feel while listening to it.
It's a fairly simple concept for a project, but making it was so cathartic. I highly recommend trying it yourself! In the background scripts, I've left a comment to show you how you can use the method I used with a new song if you feel like remixing. Though feel free to use your own methods :) I wonder what other ways you might use simple shapes/colors to display the rhythm of a song? I hope you remix so I can find out :D CREDIT Song: "The Departure" by Max Richter (from HBO's The Leftovers) NOTES I did have some trouble making sure everything stayed in rhythm, particularly with the main beat of the song. I will continue to play with this. Though if anyone has ideas on how to make the timing more accurate, please remix! I would love to see your ideas on how to do this :) *boop* =^..^=
