Instructions

Click in three places to draw a triangle, get points for each object in the triangle, plus a multiplier for the number of objects caught together. Beware the skull-and-crossbones! If you catch one of those in your triangle, game over, you lose! Objects have different point values, shown along the left-hand side. The top object in that list is worth 9 points, the one below that is 8, then 7, and so on. Every 1000 points or so, that list gets scrambled. As you play, objects will come out faster and faster, giving more points but making it more crowded and harder to catch some while avoiding others. Also as you play, some number of objects at the bottom of the point list will become EVIL (indicated by a red background behind them). Instead of giving you the normal number of points, evil objects will take points away! The top evil object takes away 1 point, the next one down takes 4, then 9, then 16, 25, etc. If you aren't careful, you will catch too many evil objects and end up with a negative score! ---------------------- Combos! You get a combo by catching the same kind of item three times in a row, with nothing else. If you catch more than one thing in a triangle, or something different, you don't get the combo. It has to be one object in a triangle, then one more of the same thing in the next triangle, then a third one of the same thing in the third triangle. Combo types: Bananas: slow down the new objects Watermelons: speed that up Fish: reduce the number of evil items. Dinosaurs: stop everything falling for a few seconds Keyboard commands: P - pause and unpause M - turn the music off and on.

Description

I started out thinking of an old game called "Doubleback", but decided on triangles because they are easier to make and it is easier to figure out which objects are inside. The sunburst pattern behind combos was inspired by the "Witch" game by @Jconway1 https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/124109065/
