So I'm leaving. " Ember started crying, tears burning down her face, scorching her orange pelt. " Take me with you then! " She leaned on him. " I can't. They need you here. There was no need for me. " Fang's head turned away. " Yes we do need you here! " Her voice was hoarse and desperate. " PLEASE! I NEED YOU TO STAY! " Fang's head turned back to Ember. " I'm sorry... It had to be like this. " He wrapped his arms around her, as she did the same. " I will miss you. " Before Ember could reply, Fang faded away into nothing. " I... I'll miss you too. " Ember walked off head low and she accepted the fact that he would be gone for good, and she needed to accept it.
