He is an OC I created named Skyler from an AU called TimeTale, which is more like an alternate multiverse. Also known as FateTale. Anyway.... (Warning! Lengthy story ahead!) Skyler was the second human to fall (first after Chara). He fell because he was looking for Chara (his cousin). He arrived shortly before Chara and Asriel were killed. He befriended the monsters, fought his way out of dangerous situations (but never killed), until he reached the CORE. By this time, Asgore was seething with rage toward humans (because Chara and Asriel were dead), and heard about Skyler. Long story short, Asgore killed Skyler. The end. Just kidding. Skyler's soul fractured and fell into the CORE. He scattered across space and time and took it upon himself to protect others (as he could travel through space and time, unlike Gaster, who would just shift between). In a Pacifist run, he would help you, but you would not know it (in his universe, the "But it refused" during the Asriel fight is replaced with (in Skyler's teal text color) "There is still hope." Skyler's soul is teal and represents Hope, that which shields, even if you can't tell. There are other OCs in this universe (Which we like to call TimeTale, as it messes with time like a bunch of Legos), like Alexander Kitty, Milo, and Naomi. Gaster is also somewhat involved (and his personality is entirely created, no Game Theories apply...*cough* MatPat...) So in this battle, you're doing a genocide run and just killed Sans. Chara runs off screaming, practically, before she destroys the timeline. You're left to deal with Skyler. "Have fun." Enjoy the game! Wait... You read this entire thing? *Clap and a half*
