Taken from The Lincoln Memorial on April 13, 2017 at 1:20 pm EDT. So far, my time at Washington DC was good. Yesterday, I took a tour of DC on the Big Bus and a taxi. So far, I've been to The US Capitol, James A Garfield Statue, The National Museum of the American Indian, Arlington National Cemetery, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and The White House. Have you been there before? I am at the Sheraton Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. It's near The Pentagon 9/11 memorial. Did you know that on Good Friday of 1865, Abe Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth? He died at Forbes Theater. His vice president was Andrew Johnson. He was the first republican president. He was the president during the Civil War. So, have a Good Friday!
