So what's the answer? He tore out his eyes and gave himself some buttons! Y'all know Coraline? Yee. So when he looks at people, instead of eyes he sees buttons. This connects him to his skill of voodoo doll making. He still has night terrors though, guilting him for his self-modifications. Voo kind of freaks out at times, when he makes dolls because his close association between eyes and buttons causes him to think his dolls are alive. Despite this fear, he continues to unknowingly play god with dolls he doesn't know resemble real people. Wow edgy.
