Please help remix!!! I haven't had my art stolen per se...but I had someone steal my game once. Remixed and then just didn't do everything. His remix had more comments than my original, most saying "this is awesome"...it made me so angry!
You may protest that Scratch projects are under a license that doesn't stop anyone from taking and using our work. However, I looked up the Creative Commons license (the license all Scratch projects are shared under.) This particular license says that a) any work shared under it must be attributed to its original creator and b) anything in which you use any work shared under it must be shared under the same license. SO: you're right, we can't stop anyone from using our art. However, we can stop them from claiming it as their own! All art shared on Scratch needs to be attributed to its original creator, and that's exactly what's NOT happening with these people. Don't steal art--it's wrong!
