Press space to make a wave with the magic of trigonometry. Adjust the slider to adjust what kind of function should be used. Sine and cosine waves are pretty similar, but tangent waves are crazy. When the angle reaches 90 and 270 degrees it become positive and negative infinity respectively. In other words, it goes off the screen completely. It's actually kinda cool to mess with the slider while it's being printed.
