Earlier I denied it, but now I feel the gravity of this situation. I am lost. The sun began to set, painting hues of yellow and red across the clear sky. But I didn't care about the sky. I cared about Xia. But I had to leave. Jax was more important... Right? -'He threw you out...' that nagging voice likes to remind me. So? I was fine. I am fine. 'He hates you... After all you've done' I don't need him. 'You ran from him, and you don't even know the way back' Oh so you think you're so smart? Tell me the way back. Who's the boss now? ... I'm still lost. Xia probably hates me. She was expecting a pup, and what did I do? I left. Why did she even like me? I'm toxic. At least she'll never have to see me. You know what? I don't need her. I don't need Jax either. I don't need anyone. I'm fine. And I continued to walk, towards a land cast in shadows. The forest would welcome me. I'll be fine.
