When Toriel saw Salem's Soul, she called Dr. Gaster and Dr. Alphys to ask if they knew anything about it, since Toriel had never seen a white and black Soul Dr. Alphys and Gaster found out that Slame had the power to balance Pain and Agony Gaster told her that she can stay with him because she has not home and, either way, he also needed to test out if she had more powers. When Betty found out about her, they walked up to Salem and asked her a 'little' favor. Later when everyone found out that she was evil, she still had Natalia work with her because Salem wasn't convinced...
