How to do this experiment at home: What you Need: Balloons Materials of your Choice Faucet 2 Dimensional Measuring Tool What to Do: 1. Turn the faucet on; put the measuring tool under it with the stream hitting 0 units on the x and y axis; and blow up the balloons. 2. Rub a balloon on one material for ten seconds and put it one inch from the stream of water. Record how far the stream gets bent. 3. Rub another balloon on another material, put it near the water, etc. Repeat for all the materials. 4. Compare the results and see which out of the materials made the water bend the farthest.
