They're for emphasis but can hurt the eyes! Her name is Remy Ruby. Or just Remy. Pronounced Ray-me. But with a bit of "e" in the "ray". Anyways, she's pretty quiet, but only because she constantly listens to music and dances around, that she doesn't notice what's happening around her. Remy's usually off in her own world. I imagine her to have a kinda soft voice with a bit of an accent. She loves dance parties and having friends over! When Remy takes out her earbuds she's surprised to find that the world is quieter than she thought. Oh also I think that she's what's called a demigirl, mostly female but can be something other wise, so "they/them" is okay too!
