*LIARS - PART SEVEN - "THE PLAN"* Uncomfortably, I slipped away gently. "We'll have to discuss this with Delyndra!" I exclaimed. So we waited. We waited for hours, doing nothing whatsoever, not paying attention to the fact that the time we had was ticking away endlessly, second by second, moment by moment. I would list out the things we could've been doing, but then, if we knew the option was there, we probably wouldn't had been able to take it anyways, because you can't just do whatever you dream up when you're stuck inside a small town-home without anything to do. They say time goes quickly when you're having fun, so perhaps I have fun by long conversations with my self. I feel almost if I am two people, because whenever I think of something, I always get a thought back at me, and it feels like a reply. Perhaps everyone feels this way. I wouldn't really know, would I? Eventually, the moment came when Delyndra opened the door and stepped through it, resting her tired, stiff feet on the cool floor as she took off her heels. "Welcome home!" I said, excitedly. I got off the couch to greet Delyndra. "Hello, Roosevelt, Jose, Verina," she turned to all of us. Verina and Jose where watching television, but still said, "Hi." We had discussed that, when Delyndra arrived, I'd talk to her about our idea. "So, Delyndra," I nervously said, "We need to talk to you, er, I need to." Delyndra looked at me in a cold and strange way, "What is it?" she asked. I sighed, "The... facility. We came from the facility... we escaped." Delyndra's jaw dropped at that second in disbelief. "That's impossible!" "No, it's not." I said, "It's how I broke my arm.." "We need your help! The facility must be destroyed!" exclaimed Jose. Delyndra just stared at us, and we waited for an answer. "I... I'm just..." Delyndra stuttered, "Okay. I'll help you." "What's the first thing we have to do?" I asked, "We haven't really came up with anything, and you're the only one who knows anything about the facility at all." The woman tilted her head downwards, "First, we'd have to turn off the cloning cells. In the system, it'd look as if they are malfunctioning, which would make a distraction so we can turn off the power all together." I nodded, "So, how do we not get caught?" "The place isn't very secure, but we'd need bullet-proof vests and sunglasses." Delyndra tapped her forehead, "I mean, I think so. Honestly, we'd probably need to shave our heads as well, so nobody could pull our hair." Jose stepped in, "What do we do after that, though?" "You could... try to get in contact with your families," Delyndra suggested. Just hearing that sentence sent a chill down my spine. Why hadn't I thought of that? There's not so much that could happen in just 16 years. My jaw dropped open. "Of course..." I stuttered, feeling a good cry come on. "There's one more thing I have to address, while I have your attention." said Delyndra, "And that's the fact that... the clones wake up frighteningly close to their expiration date, and I wanted you to know that in case you don't have much time left at all." Verina's eyes widened. "What? What do you mean 'expiration date'?!" she demanded. Delyndra lowered her head, "The bodies you have... they aren't designed to live for more than a few months... after a while, they will stop functioning and... you will die." Verina turned her head and began to cry. "Is.. is it painful?" "Nothing ever dies peacefully," Delyndra sniffled, "or, at least as peacefully as you'd like to think... especially for a clone..." And we stood there, staring at one another. Finally, I got my guts together and fixed my eyes on Delyndra. "Let's get to work, then." *To Be Continued...* *LOVE, COMMENT, SHARE!*
