more found here! vv ://imaginationsplayground.weebly.com/home/latest-drawings-and-doodles note that not all of these are strictly doodles (in fact they're pretty much all finished pieces) but they were drawn in my mini doodle-sketchbook so they are classified as doodles left and right arrows or space to advance! 1. random headshot. the first of many you'll be seeing. the red tank top was a mistake. (not like i did it accidentally like i shouldn't have done it) 2. mermaid as seen previously except her tail and crop top are purple because i didn't have a red or orange with me as i only had my winsor and newtons so yeah. also terrible anatomy ftw. super long arms and tiny head and over-voluminous hair. 3. self-portrait for once! i like never do self-portraits.... the general features here are pretty accurate but I'm not graceful enough to sit in a pose like this 4. another random headshot; my friend did the coloring for her eyes 5. i don't even know it just came out of my pencil 6. random headshot that i'm very happy with 7. mermaid again except i colored her tail with grape juice. long story. (stick around and i'll tell it) 8. braids! man i love drawing braids. ignore the dog-ish thing and text. 9. not-so-random headshot! design belongs to @jiyiu. i drew this right after i did the contest prize with this design so it was in my head. aand that's all for now folks some of this art is older than others okay so the long story about the grape juice! well see most of these were drawn in the middle of the youth services at my church (i'm christian just btw) because i carry my mini-doodle-sketchbook in my church purse. *looks through pics* yep all of these were either drawn at church or small group but some of the more complex ones (like the first one) that required steady hands were drawn outside of the service. so the mermaid with the water-y tail (kicking myself for not using the grape juice for the water instead of her tail) i was drawing before we had communion (if you don't know what communion it's basically we drink grape juice (or wine if you're of age and you go to some church that uses wine or something idk) and crackers or bread (lol we have crackers in the regular service and bread in the youth service) to remember christ's sacrifice on the cross as according to his commandment when he (christ) did the same (as in ate bread and wine) (except we're kiddies so grape juice) at the last passover (which i'm not going to get into all you need to know is that it's a symbolic meal) "do this in remembrance of me"). aanywho so for the youth service we get a little piece of bread and we dip it into the grape juice that's pretending to be fermented and i didn't eat it right away which meant it dripped on my hand so i'm praying with grape juice in my hand and we finish up communion and i just have this puddle of grape juice in my hand. i look at my mermaid sketch. she still needs coloring for her tail b/c i didn't have the red marker so i was stuck. so i think that "hey grape juice will probs be more red than my lavender winsor and newton marker" so i tried it and good news i used up all the grape juice so i didn't have to sit there awkwardly with a puddle of grape juice in my hand but bad news it pretty much just made the paper really wet with no coloring whatsoever. later it dried to be kinda blue. so yeah that's the story of how i used grape juice in my drawing in the middle of church
