Welcome, welcome, step right up folks, to the on, the only, PAIR OF OPTICAL ILLUSIONS! We have here a pretty pair of illusions. However without instructions, well, no offence, but your clueless! So, here we go! INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BARS: When you first start the project, you should see a bunch of flickering bars. Now, put your finger on the left side of the screen, so your fingers Y axis is the same as the bar's. Now, move your finger to the left side of the screen. The bars move with you! Now, move it to the right. They go to the right! With a little bit of practice, you can switch in the middle! INSTRUCTION FOR WHEEL: Okay, on the next page you'l see a wheel. Move your eyes clockwise, but keep them focused on the wheel. It's going clockwise! Now, wove them counter-clockwise. It goes counter-clockwise! Try switching quickly. Amazing! Okay, you've seen the instructions, and hopefully try them out for yourself. Now, how about a little history on these illusions? History for bars: This phenomenon was named “Sigma Motion” by O. J. Grüsser, but first reported by James Pomerantz. It demonstrates the interaction of image reversal and eye movements, with efference copy at work. History for wheel: Ya, I couln't find any history for this. Rember kids, look three ways before you cross the street. (Left, right and up, you never know when an anvil might fall on your head and kill you) Peace! Bobberpi out! (Turns out light, falls down stairs)
