This is the graph of sine, cosine and tangent over the x-axis. Click the flag to see what happens! Sine is red. Cosine is green. Tangent is orange. Do you notice any relationships between sine and cosine? Why does tangent have a special pattern? Click SPACE to switch to Inverse mode, and press the flag again. What happens now? Why doesn't it work? The function's domains are not restricted, so they become undefined. That's why odd values show up on the screen!
