A variation of my 2D rubik's cube with a locked yellow side. It has also been called Constrained RC2D and RC2D: locked yellow. Click a piece in the center of a side to turn it. Click 'scramble' for a 5-15 move scramble. Click 'autosolve' to automatically solve it. Click 'algorithmic solve' to solve it and see the moves. Algorithmic solve was easier to develop than I thought AND IT IS NOT A REVERSE SCRAMBLE!! How to solve (and how the algorithmic solve does it) If the left piece on the yellow side is black, turn the black side if the left piece on the black side is black, and turn the orange side. If the right piece on the yellow side is black, turn the black side if the right piece on the black side is black, and turn the red side. If the bottom piece on the red side is orange, turn the black side. This solves the red and orange sides, and therefore the "cube". Patterns: Odd one out: Red, Black, Red, Black Cornerswap: Red, Black, Red In the middle and pinwheel are impossible with a locked yellow.
