Don't think they were mates, they r actually brother and sister. Moon shadow died a few days after a forest fire started in his home sky clan, when he tried to jump over the fire part of the flames gave him a burnt patch of fur and skin, he died from that because it kept bleeding no matter what :(......... poor Tall shadow.......
