[SUPER NICE!] Event 0 has been released! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/144869920/ [NICE!] To celebrate hitting 25 participants, I'm raising each (major, not individual species) cap by 2! [OH LOOK ANOTHER NOTE] You can add Pokemon to your team after you join as long as they abide by the rules and the team does not exceed six. You cannot remove Pokemon from your team, and you can only add them up until the tournament starts. [NEW NOTE!] For new applicants, if you cannot come up with a good reason why you have a mega stone, not to worry! There is a professor NPC who will give you the mega stone when you arrive at the battle frontier after the demo! For now just label the origin of the mega stone and keystone as 'Received from Prof. Briar' and use it for the demo. [THE 3 RULES OF JOINING] These are so simple and I'm going to be incredibly frustrated and disappointed with people who don't follow them. 1. Your character cannot interfere with or be inserted into any of the canon roles or events (ex: well my trainer is the protag of sun so its ok that I have cosmog on my team! shes also best friends with the x/y protag and they gave her mewtwonite!!!) < please don't do this 2. Do not put any Pokémon that have been capped out on your team. If you have a mega, please explain how the mega and keystones were obtained. Preferably a logical explanation. 3. For Arceus' sake don't join with Pokémon that have illegal or unobtainable moves/abilities. It's not that hard. [NEW NOTE!] When the tournament starts, you will receive a bonus for every Pokémon you have that no one else does! So if you're the only applicant using a certain species of Pokémon, you get a special bonus! What is the bonus? It's a surprise, that's what! [(UPDATED) NEW POKEMON CAPS!] I've decided to already start enforcing caps because of the influx of overused Pokémon being used or mentioned. I don't mean to say these Pokémon are bad, in fact I like them too, but I don't want every team I see to be starters, pseudo-legendaries and eeveelutions. Also, there can be up to 3 species of a Pokémon allowed in accepted applications. [MOST INFO IN THE PROJECT] The tournament will go like this: We'll have 3 rounds, and each round you'll be randomly assigned another player to battle with. It's your job to make interactive or animated content displaying your team winning against theirs. If the judge (myself) deems your content as the winning project, you win and get to add a win to your record! Be sure to follow me to stay updated on the tournament! If by the end of the tournament there are enough people supporting the group, I'll start working on opening it up immediately and the Scratch Battle Frontier will be open for business!
