The Sphere of Evil desires to enter the area from which he is restricted for whatever reason. It is your job as the Plank of Epicness to take the responsibility to prevent the Sphere of Evil from entering the area even though it really wouldn't hurt anybody except maybe your feelings if he did manage to enter it. Use your cursor to heroically maneuver the Plank of Epicness to deflect the Sphere of Evil's evil attempts to enter the area. If you fail you will be informed so by the big scary words on the screen and the Sphere of Evil will probably also tease you about it because he is evil. The Sphere of Evil will progressively move faster in determined frustration due to you heroically blocking him from entering the restricted area. Hopefully if you do this long enough the Sphere of Evil will give up and go away and you shall celebrate in victory. Oh, also there's a scoreboard in case you want to keep track of how many times you block the Sphere of Evil form entering the restricted area so you can rub it in his face later. Actually, you probably shouldn't do that because it might hurt his feelings and even though he is evil you shouldn't want to hurt someone's feelings. Have fun!!
