Argh this took me so long to do! Probably about 14 straight hours. What does that say about my art skills? xD Everything is by me, but I used @Rosyda's tutorial for the nose and mouth ;) This is Coralina! Her name comes from the Greek name for "Coral of the sea"! ✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩Coralina's story!✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩ Coralina was born into a loving and nurturing pod of merfolk. She excelled at school and was the friend that you could always turn to. One night, she was out swimming along the reef, when suddenly a vicious current dragged her below the surface. As a mer, she could hold her breath for at least an hour, so that wasn't worrying her. What was worrying her was the distance that the ocean was pulling her: from beneath the air she could see her family and friends getting further and further away, everybody enjoying the gentle lapping of the waves, oblivious to her peril. She struggled and struggled, until eventually conceding to the pull and allowing her arms to be whipped away... Coralina woke up. She had been lying on a clump of rocks. She could see some weeds beside her, but other than them the seabed was bare for miles and miles, until the horizon sharply cut it off. Her hair flowed behind her like invisible currents deep in the ocean. There was silence all around. ✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩ I know I went on a bit there xD
