Instructions

All clicking. Click the flag twice. Click the face to go to the head, click the belly to go to the belly, and click the machine (accessible from both the head and overall view) to go to the machine. Click the book to read the correct instructions, but there are numerous ways (but less than in real life) to mess up. Placing the tube and retractors may take a few tries. Still confused? Watch a video walkthrough on Google Drive with this at the end: file/d/0B1Do_JlvAqv5UTFRR0pFYm9ubm8/view?usp=sharing

Description

Too hard? Try our other game, https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/158847963/ March 29: Changed overdose calculations January 17: Fixed warning message Are you grossed out, or are you prepared to save lives? Emma is a girl who was hopping and skipping for weeks in pain until it prevented her from even climbing a tree. Although she wasn't sure, she thought the culprit of her lower-right tummy-ache was Appendicitis, when this little pouch jutting out from the colon is swollen with who-knows-what. The vermiform (worm-shaped) appendix usually harbors immune cells (lymphocytes) and gut flora, but a rupture can mean a nasty and dangerous infection. Emma went to a hospital to get her appendix removed, a procedure that usually takes half an hour but is condensed to 3 minutes on Scratch. She has not eaten for 6 hours. She is waiting to normally play with her friends again. Are you, out of millions of Scratchers, up for it? Don't take this project seriously. It's an oversimplification, omitting the difficulties of intubation (don't shove it down the esophagus!) and the whole thing overall. Otherwise, have fun (because it's no child's play for real).
