This (as you might tell) is Spottedleaf and Firestar. After Spottedleaf's cruel death, Firestar was in agony. He lost the one cat that he had loved. Even moons afterwards, he continued to hold grief, putting away his feelings for Sandstorm, his mate. During the journey to put Skyclan back together, he finally realized that Spottedleaf was dead, and he should be focusing on his alive mate. Spottedleaf continued to love him in Starclan, and he continued to love her as a friend. During the Great Battle, Spottedleaf gave up her place in the stars to save Sandstorm, so that her dear friend could still have love. The flower in the picture represents the other's feelings, it is somewhat a connection for the two who were never meant to be. Credit to Silver-skies for the CC
