I'll probably re-trace through Krita and make a picture out of this. Anyways, you're probably looking for rules. Well, the good news is, there are none! Yeah, no. There are rules. :3 Sorry. The rules are: 1. GIVE ME CREDIT. And Britt Nicole, for that matter. 1 1/2. No fire. No squids. No squids on fire. *coughfandomrefcough* 2. Please, no FNAF, or creepy stuffs like that, m'kay? Undertale MIGHT be okay? Just nothing too creepy 3. No over-depictions of gore/blood. Minimal is the limit, but none is strongly preferred. 4. Put your favorite brand of headphones/earbuds or favorite band in your entry to show you have read the rules, but BE SUBTLE. No like, "I'm entering. Bose." 5. A backstory is a VERY nice touch. (HINTHINT) 7. It can be sad-happy. It's MEANT to be sad/happy. Try your best! 8. You can REFERENCE off of the examples, be INSPIRED by them, and whatever else, but you can't COPY them. Seriously, they're junky. It took me like 3 minutes to do the first, and the second's color palette is- *cringes* Oh, and NO COPYING OTHERS' ENTRIES 9. Make a background, even if it's just a few music notes or something. 10. Please no saying, "I should have won!!" or "X should have won!!" 11. DELETE the examples! Please, don't just recolor them. 12. No removing my siggy, please. 13. No changing the lineart until it's unrecognizable! You can change it a bit, but not that much! Okay, I'm done with the rules now :-) Tips: ~Backstory ~Use more than a paint bucket. Heck, go at it with a program! There's plenty of free online ones like Sumopaint and Sketchpad if you can't download anything like FireAlpaca or Medibang Paint. I personally use Krita with a bunch of awesome (FREE and VIRUS FREE) brushpacks ~Shading is a great touch. AMAZING SHADING IS KEY. ~Hmmm, an OC might work... (HINTHINTHINTHINTHINT) ~Uhmm, I can't think of anything else, but HAVE FUN. It's not a rule, because you seriously work better when you're not stressed.
