You must first answer the questions you are being asked before your problem is solved. For example: If you have one half plus one fourth, you would answer: First Numerator: 1 First Denominator: 2 Second Numerator: 1 Second Denominator: 4 You would then click 'Addition' to begin the calculation animation.
I used simple math terms to make a simple fraction solver! Dec 15: ***CURRENTLY MULTIPLICATION AND DIVISION WORK*** Dec: 20 Addition works for a second, but I still need to add the rest, and add subtraction. Happy multiplying and dividing? Jan 9: Multiplication and addition now work. I just need to fix a small bug in division, and add subtraction. Shouldn't take that long... Also added a variable to show your original problem as throughout the animation the original number will change. Jan 9 (3 seconds later...): Fixed the division bug. That was odd. Instead of the sign going up, it would go down. not sure how I managed for that to happen, but it's fixed. Jan 13: Added subtraction. This feature took a while because my scripts were messy, and I had to factor in the chance of a negative value. Jan 16: I think I finished the project! Jul 21: (wow, has it been that long since I visited this project?) This project won't work with high numbers such as double digits, because I would have to add about 300 costumes for it to work. And scratch doesn't support moving variables, so only single digits numbers work for now. It's always been like this, but I just thought it would be worth mentioning.
