Happy New Years everyone! ^^ As excited as I am for 2017, I'm a little sad to see 2016 go. Some may find this weird, but 2016 has been one of the best years of my life. ^^ I have reached so many milestones in this one year, and even my friends and people I look up to have reached milestones this year as well. Oh that and the Cubs won the World Series (YEEAAHH BOI CUBS FAN RIGHT HERE) But I wanna do a little something special here, Things I'm Thankful for this Year. (These are all in random order X"D) 1. I'm alive and I survived! :D 2. All my amazing friends survived as well. ^^ 3. My baby cousin. She is just the cUTEST thing ever, omw 4. My Great-Grandmother is still alive. And that's kinda big for me since I dream that she'll be alive to see my kids grow up. I know it's a kinda silly dream, but I've known her all my life. She's not someone I wanna lose.. 5. My family 6. My church (My fam found this GREAT church this year, and we've been going since. Really loving the whole thing! ^^) 7. My plant has survived my inconsistent watering *waters it again just cause* 8. SOCKS. I am VERY thankful for socks otherwise my toes would freeze XD 9. I'm also thankful for the fact that I never gave up, and neither did my friends or family. We all pulled through, and here we are today. Welcoming 2017 with open arms and giving 2016 a goodbye hug. We've all come a long way. Made it through rough times, and smooth ones. Good days and bad. Some of us may still be going through bad times, and to those people, I say hang in there. You'll make it through. We're not perfect, but we keep trying. We keep getting somewhere, changing and becoming a better us. We've joined fandoms, we've left them. Joined a site here, left a site there. Made friends, lost friends. Confronted enemies and gained new ones even. But the important thing is that we're all here, we're all alive, and we're all surviving. Who knows, 2017 may be a rough year too. But if we survived 2016, I feel pretty confident we can survive 2017. So hang in there. Don't loose hope, and stay strong. "For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world.
