LOUD WARNING press h to activate hardmode- enemy spawn rate becomes stupendous. A small guide manual for new players: ENEMIES: Common fist A regular enemy. rather sluggish(unless during endgame). Can take one hit. Blue fist A rarer variant. Moves twice as fast. Can take one hit. Shadow fist A variant with a unique trajectory and dies in one hit. Has a unique death animation. RARE ENEMIES: Green fist A fast fist. near impossibe to hit. It dies with one hit. has a unique death animation and gives the player a ton of points. Nuke A slow moving and extremely powerful enemy. shoot it down before it reaches you. deals five damage and dies in one hit. Has a unique death animation and is so far the only enemy who will be warned about upon arrival. Dash A insanely fast enemy that circles around you. dies in one hit. Has a unique death sound and animation. "Spectre" Another insanely fast enemy. Will try to pursue you repeatedly until destroyed. Is so far one of the only two enemies that can take multiple hits. Has a unique death sound along with a unique animation. Is the only enemy that is semi-transperent and flickers randomly. "Barracuda" An aggressive enemy unit, capable of sudden rams. Fortunately, its aim is terrible and it is pretty easy to take down. Usually spawns along with the "spectre" and shares death animation. POWERUPS: MEDIC: Heals you with 1 hp. dies if shot. Minigun It fires faster and faster the more you get damaged. However, its spread increases the along with the firing speed. Dies if shot. Lazer rifle Used to be called "icicle rifle" and used to fire two shots rapidly. After a rework,it used to be one of the most underpowered powerups. In the spite of a recent rework, it is better now. Now it fires three consecutive shots that expand in size before dissapearing with a long cooldown period. Dies of shot. Hive mind Used to be one of the most overpowered powerups in the game. It was made a little less game breaking in a recent update. The old version was a reskin of the lazer rifle and used its old sound whilst firing infinitely many spikes. Of course, it was reworked. Now it fires small drones that bounce around and explode violently after a short period of time. It recieved its own unique sprite along with a new sound. Dies of shot. Grenade launcher Used to fire a slow grenade with a giant explosion with long intervals. It used to be underpowered. However, in update 1.2.6, it was reworked into its current state. It recieved a new sound and fires faster. Now, its equally balanced with the other weapons. It used to use the old stock gun sound before getting its own unique sound. Dies if shot. Flamethrower The most recent addition of powerups. It fires a stream of fire. deals damage over a decent area. A great choice for any rookie. Dies if shot Shotgun The latest powerup to be added. Used to be slightly underpowered due to its spread and firing interval being too large. It got reworked and got transformed into a decent weapon. Also dies if shot. I will add future notes in the other box underneath. due to this one being full. TRIVIA: This game is heavily based upon a game showcased in a "guide for scratch beginners". The mystery man that may appear is based of Gaster, also a very mysterious character. This game is hard to find due to the overload of games with the same name. A wise person might search for "bastion defender" instead as this is one of the few-if not the only- game that shows up. The best score is from an outdated version of the game. It is possible to beat the game-although its hard. The old nuke sprite resembled Sputnik 1. Most old textures can be found in-game. The game was created 2016, along with my other game. It was released a year later, after going through its long development. The shotgun was originally going to be called "unequalizer" and have a tigher spread and lower attack speed the less hp the player has. The minigun used to be "barrage gun", butr was changed to the current name minigun. During 1.2.3, it was called "Equalizer", but was changed back in 1.2.4. Most old sound effects were made by redstone dragon yelling into the microphone or slamming on a table. Recent sound effects were made by tools. the classic gun sound was made by clashing metal objects together whilst the lazer rifle sound was made by dropping a spoon onto a ceramic bowl. The medic-along with the heal fist are the only two healing items so far. They are also the the only two pickups that dont have a new, reworked sprites. Frag grenades used to be an usable pickup that existed during early development. however, due to the fact that some may over-rely on them, they were removed and replaced with the current power-ups that are present in-game right now. The overall design of the turret resembles the turret from Pixel gun 3D
right now its version 1.2.9: (late) Scratch celebration day! new featuers: Celebrate Scratch day with the new tripleshot cannon "Celebration"! It will transform into a regular weapon later. Crates has been released! You can test the test server weapons, component weapons and your average weapons by letting the crate arrive to you. NOTE: some of these weapons are unfinished and sometimes broken, open the crates at you own risk Upcoming features: Bosses were cancelled. I am planning on making a new, related game with bosses, however, this game will probably never have bosses. I will rework stuff I already have made and introduce new, interesting enemies(due to the lack of them) Due to there already being too many enemies in normal, A separate mode will be added. The current weapons on the test server are the "genesis", "blue moon", "chainzapper" and an unnamed powerup. Thay will be released when all of the "demolition pack" components have been collected. Test version feature will soon be available to everyone! RECENT WEAPONS: Hellfire launcher Fires a volley of 4 rockets despite only having 3 barrels, indicating that it was originally going to have 4 barrels. The rockets move quickly and creates a small explosion upon impact. not nearly as large as the one the grenade launcher creates. Will start spawning when all components have been collected. Dragons eve Fires two fireballs that violently explode upon impacting the walls. Innacurate. It bears some similiarities to the shotgun(usage-wise), hellfire launcher(usage-wise), flame thrower(appearance-wise) and the hive mind(appearance-wise). Will start spawning when all components have been collected. Crossbolter Fires a bolt that sticks to walls. enemies cannot pass through it. Can deploy a bunch of arrows around it to guard itself. The arrow has a fuse of 20 seconds before detonating. However, other powerups cannot pass through either. This weapon has the fastest projectile in the game. It also has the longest duration out of all powerups: en entire 30 seconds! However, its firing speed is rather modest compared to other weapons. Will start spawning when all components have been collected.. RECENT ENEMIES List is so far empty Credits go to Scratch(programming engine) and redstone_dragon(me, the creator of almost all sounds and every sprite(with the sole exeption being the background) More trivia: The minigun used to be called "barrage gun" The ACTUAL reason why the frag grenade never came to the game is because I couldn't program it back then. Powerup time stacks. That was originally a bug but became an actual feature because I like it that way. I can easily fix this if I want to. All weapons are referred to their original name in the code.
