~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ISLE LIFE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Welcome to Isle Life, a tropical paradise that you can develop on three different islands. Each island boasts beautiful beaches, a large estate property, and a downtown area. Not to mention each is unlike the other, so the options are endless! Choose between 5 playable characters and with the help of your guide, Herbia, make your island shine! Please read below to find out more that this game has to offer! Enjoy! ~Controls: Use the Left and Right Arrow keys to move about the island. When in contact with an islander, press the Down key to start a conversation. If the character is above yours, click them to start chatting. Go on either edge of a screen to enter a new area, and if you do not go anywhere when on an edge, it is a dead end. To enter a building, have your character be in contact with it, causing it to glow. Then, click it with your mouse to go inside. To exit a building, go to the edge of the screen where you entered. To switch between the Suburbs and Downtown, glide your mouse to the bottom of the screen, and click the button that will then appear on the screen. To hide and show the clock, press C to show it and X to close it. Having the clock closed will improve the speed, so consider closing it if you are experiencing lag. ~Islanders: On the island, you can find a wide variety of characters to encounter and talk to. There are more than 50 total, so there will always be someone new to chat with. In the suburbs, islanders can gift you money to spend on beautifying the island, and the more empty lots that you fill, the better they will fund you! Do your best to please them, and they will be sure to please you in return! ~Businesses: In the downtown section of the island, you will find large empty lots scattered in different spots. These are places where you can build interactive businesses, and also where you can earn or spend your money. By talking to certain fish in the downtown area, they will propose to build their business, and by accepting their proposal, you can build in it an empty lot. This costs a little money, but it will be worth it in the future! ~The Estate: The estate is a single-room customizable house that can be filled with different types of furniture! To enter the estate, walk up to the door and press the Up Arrow. On the exterior, you can choose from two different styles for the house, and on the interior, you can fill it with any type of available furniture. There are two furniture stores to build, and inside them, you can purchase new furniture for you house. When inside the estate, simply press the "design" button to customize your house! Then, click on different pieces of furniture to change them! Don't forget the wall and the floor! ~Control+M/Optimization: At times where the game lags, pressing Control (or Command) + M can be a solution to it, and the game will require pressing Control + M and many different times to improve the player's experience. If a button appears unclickable, press Control + M and try again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NOTES~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Thank you to Scratch for making this project possible! ~Thanks to @-stache- for the basic clock, which I altered greatly. ~Thank you to Nintendo for the music! ~And thank you for viewing this project, it means a lot! ~Please report bugs, I love to fix them :p! ~Please leave a Love and a Like, as I spent months on this! ~I would greatly appreciate if you could suggest this to be featured, as a lot of time and effort was poured into it.
