I was inspired to create this project when a good friend of mine was cyber bullied on scratch. I wanted to stop cyber bullying, so I created this project to stop it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cyber bullying is a form of bullying that can be done in: texting, social media, and even calling! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Today we are going to focus on Social Media Bullying. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Imagine if you got onto scratch one day, and you saw this message: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------@A_Cyber_Bully commented on your profile: "you r a stupid idiot! you only have 4 followers and you are so dumb that you dont deserve to be on scratch!" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is an example of cyber bullying. If you get cyber bullied, there are three things you can do: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REPORT You can report a scratch comment by simply clicking the "Report" button on a comment. This way, the scratch team can analyse the comment and do something about it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TELL Tell a trusted adult about the comment and they can help you to deal with the cyber bully. They may even be able to find out who the bully was! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------IGNORE Probably the most important thing do is not let it effect you (ignore) The bully wants to hurt your self-esteem and if you are affected by it, the bully wins. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That is what you should do if you get a cyberbully comment. But what should you do if you are a cyberbully? Well, STOP.
