This is Ginger, I wrote a play for school and I played her in it, so I had to share her here. Ginger loves rhyming and puns, and she is a gingerbread cat. She was burnt at the ears in a narrow escape from a baker, and she met a cat named Mayo who helped her get a job at Santa's workshop. (I ship those two) However, following an incident where Ginger and Mayo accidentally destroyed Santa's sleigh, they were forced to live in a cave. They planned to rescue all the other animals that got kicked out because of them (santa thought all animals were trouble after they destroyed his sleigh), but Mayo got killed by a strange green, red, and white cat called Holly. Holly said that Mayo was up to no good, and he was Santa's favorite, and that's why she killed him. Ginger was heartbroken, but after Holly showed her footage on a security camera (that she stole) Ginger found out that Mayo was just using her because he was her friend, and he would spare only her in the end. Holly and Ginger became fast friends, and found two little abandoned elves outside Santa's workshop. Their names were Chicken and Nugget. They teamed up, and grew older. Just a little. But when Chicken and Nugget rebelled against Santa, Ginger didn't want to. Holly did (duh), but only because she was gonna get treats. Santa wasn't evil. Chicken and Nugget brainwashed Frosty, a clueless elf, and they all were plotting against Santa. Ginger tried to tell everyone that Santa was in danger, but she had to be sneaky. So she made it in the form of a rhyme. After that, Holly asked why Ginger cared about people so much. Ginger told Holly her story, resulting in her forehead getting completely burnt, just like the time in the oven with the baker. Ginger went away, wearing a large hood and being mysterious. She met up with Candy Caney, who also wore a hood, and Candy mentioned getting involved in the battle, offering them chocolate as a peace treaty. Ginger refused, but after they poured some water (only 2.99!) on her head, she gave in. Her head now clear, Ginger took part in the final battle and tried to sing and make Chicken and Nugget feel better. No such luck, Chicken still wanted to destroy Santa. They took part in the final stocking fight, and Ginger was revealed to be a strange figure with a cloak on. Smacking around the easter bunny, people dabbed, cried, and laughed. Chicken and Nugget were sent back to Santa's workshop, and Ginger and Holly were offered jobs there, but they refused. Some say they were too experienced and tough to make toys... Ginger now works as a double-agent for The Gingerbread Pan corp. and enjoys her job, but misses Holly and everybody else in her past. She spends her spare time dancing and drawing. Ginger can never tell anyone her story ever again, for she will still get burnt. But she told me once, and I typed it up for you. She is nodding over my shoulder, finally at peace.
Sigh... Happy holidays, everyone! I miss acting in the play already. edit: wth is this
