See here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/143650996/ Hello, people! So I've been wanting to make a DTA for a while now, and I decided to make one in time for the winter holidays! (I may actually be a tad late for that, but shush ^^ ) So, on to the technical part: DTA (abbreviation) A Draw To Adopt. Usually a collection of character designs in which artists draw the one they want, and the host gives the design to the artist with the best entry. Mildly competitive. DTAs often have a due-date, past which they will no longer be accepting entries and the judging process will begin. (This one is extended indefinitely until there are enough entries to actually judge-so feel free to enter! Please do so!) Common rules for DTAs: -Please remix the project with your entry. -Your entry must be drawn by you-please don't use bases or trace others' art. -You do not have to ask to enter, nor will designs be reserved for anyone. If you share an entry, you've entered! -You may enter for as many designs as you wish, but if you win, you will only win one. -Please write a bio (noun: Internet abbreviation for "biography," a piece of writing detailing the personality, backstory, and any additional facts about a character. These vary in length and detail) for the character as part of the entry. -Please respect others! Be nice to your fellow contestants, as basic human courtesy demands, and, who knows, you just might win Miss Congeniality. Studies have shown that these things will positively affect your chances for winning: -Drawing the character in a different position than shown in the original project -Drawing a background -Putting effort into making the bio detailed and thorough -Adding music that makes sense with the character -Really, really wanting the character. A lot. (Of course, this tends to increase the amount of effort put into other elements of the entry, so- Please enter! Have fun ^^ (pssst! Also, if you want to enter, just go ahead! Add as many as you like~ The one thing you cannot change is the design - everything else is up to you! (Also! To avoid confusion-the solid patches that are the same color as the lineart are shading, not part of the design ^^ Assume that the pattern or solid color keeps on going under it.)
