Auggie faced a frozen pond, the snowflakes brushing his whiskers. The snow bit his pads, but he was entranced by the snow. The way it danced, like it was frantically trying to stay afloat, just like him. At least it was wintertime. The time when he felt at home, in his cabin, surrounded by the towering pines. It was cold, but his thick fur coat was warm and soft, shielding him from the winds. He sighed, his breath like a plume of smoke from his mouth. He flicked his ear, in attempt to get a flake of the snow that has freezing him. Solitude. Quiet. These were the things he adored. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- N A M E: August (Auggie) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- P E R S O N A L I T Y: Introvert, silent, calm, peaceful, selfless ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- A G E: early 20s ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- O C C U P A T I O N: None, because he lives alone ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- S U R R O U N D I N G S: He lives in the frosty kingdom in Teibervann, in the world of RaT (Roses And Thorns, my series) in the wide expanse of the Unknown Forest (it's literally called the Unknown Forest because the king of Teibervann is really bad at naming things, and because nobody goes in there, and when they do, they never return (mainly because they get lost, because it takes up most of the kingdom. He lives in the center-ish, where the pines are thickest. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- B A C K S T O R Y: Auggie grew up in the city, but fled into the forest after his parents signed him up for the army, the opposite of the message Auggie wanted to spread of peace and non violence. He got lost, wandering around for the next couple days, until Auggie found a beautiful clearing in the center of the forest, and decided to settle there. Instead of hunting for food, he survived on berries and other greens. He, instead helps find food for the starving animals, often making him food deprived, but being the selfless creature he is, he would starve for other animals.
