The instructions are simple, Use arrow keys to move Left/Right and Up/Down. Space bar to shoot (When you unlock the gun). When you move left or right it turns your Santa Ship Left/Right, making it harder to shoot obstacles. Cookies are the basic obstacles, shoot them and get them away, but they spawn fast. The Fallen Elf Ships will sink downwards and turn left/right, making unsuspected attacks. The present spawn a bit longer than the cookies do but they come in different sizes. Try to survive as long as possible!
