Instructions

PLEASE USE FULL SCREEN FOR BEST QUALITY! I used vector graphics, and some of the sprites are small. EVERYONE! I know there are a lot of glitches. If anything messes up the game, click "R" to restart. If it still isn't working, return to the menu, then go back. If you're in the level designer, click the "Re-Load" button. ALSO, in the level designer, if there's a bunch of zeros at the end of the number part of your code, you can delete them when posting the level in the comments. I don't know why it does that for some people -_- Don't worry, it wont change the level. LAST ALSO! Don't feel bad if you get stuck on level 10. MANY people have. Also, don't feel bad once you figure out how to do it. :P It's really sneaky! All of the instructions are in-game, but I have them here as well. Below the controls are the instructions for the level designer. ----------------------------------- CONTROLS ----------------------------------- Use the arrow keys to move, and get to the green goal to get to the next level. You can only pass through walls if you are the same color as them. If you press space by a cauldron, you take the cauldron's color. If you have a color and you press space at an empty cauldron, you empty your color into the cauldron. If you AND the cauldron have a color and you press space, the colors mix. At the top it keeps track of how many moves you've made. Moving once or using a cauldron counts as a move. If you complete a level in the shortest possible number of moves, a star will appear on the level button in the menu. Press "R" during a level to reset it. Press "M" to return to the level select menu. There are also buttons in the top-left corner that you can click instead. Press "S" to turn the music off. The button is in the bottom-right corner. Press 0 to reset the game. It will ask you "Are you sure you want to reset? Type "yes" to confirm." If you type "yes" and press enter, it will reset your progress. You'll have to click the flag again, though. ------------------------------ LEVEL DESIGNER ------------------------------ After you complete the first 6 levels, a "Level Designer" button will appear at the bottom of the level select menu. If you click it, the message "Choose a grid size" will appear. Use the arrow keys by the "rows" and "columns" numbers to change them.. When you press start, the level will appear. WARNING! If you go back to the menu while in the level designer, your level will be lost. You can move the ball around the level as you edit it, but if you move something with the mouse, the ball will go back to where it was last moved to, and the moves will reset. You can also press "r" or the reset button. If you move the muse to the bottom of the screen, buttons will appear. When you start, and if you click on the mouse pointer button, you can click and drag the ball, goal, and cauldrons around. They will automatically snap to the grid. If you drag something outside of the level, it resets to avoid glitches. If you click on the eraser button, you can click on cauldrons and walls to delete them. You cannot delete the ball or goal. If you click on the ball with the eraser, it will turn white. (I'll explain coloring in a bit.) To make a cauldron, click and drag it into the level, using the caldron button. (It looks like a white circle.) To change the color of something, click on a paint can, then click on what you want to color. You can change the ball's color and the cauldrons' colors, and create/color a wall. If there's an error for some reason, but you don't want to lose your level, click "Re-Load," and it should fix the problem. When your level is complete, click the "Save" button. The designer buttons will hide, and the level will reset (as if you had pressed "r" or the reset button). Once you complete the level, the code for the level will appear. You can select it and copy it into the comments for other people to try. To load a level, copy it from the comments, and click the "Load" button in the level designer. Paste the code in and press enter. The level will load, and you can play it. If you get the best score possible, the message "✩ Best score" will appear. You can also edit the loaded level and re-save it.
