Last OC, I swear! This is Pyrite, a gemsona made by my friend(I can't mention her name for privacy reasons). She is the youngest of the island gems, being only about 7,250 years old. She was sent with Staurolite to hunt down corrupted gems. They crash-landed on Mask Island, and the ship carrying them was destroyed. Soon they discovered that they weren't the only normal gems on Earth!(Sadly, the Crystal gems wouldn't be discovered for another 4,000 years, the gems they met were Zircon and Jade) Soon after, the Island Gems were created. Pyrite is very childish and cheery, and is always there to lift everyone's spirits in bad situations.
