(@ExperienceSea:) This is my Face Shading Tutorial If you want to reference this when drawing, go to the slide where it's all shaded but NOT blended. Dark blue --------------> Pink Darkest ----------------> Lightest I am still learning a lot about faces, how they are made up, and how light affects how they look. I feel like I have learned a lot about shading faces over the past few months, so I've decided to pass on the information that I HAVE learned into this not-so-perfect tutorial :P I'm sorry that this kind of tutorial can be a little advanced. I start out with a sketch of a face already. If you still need practice DRAWING faces, but would like to practice shading, you can take that sketch I drew and practice on it if you want. Also, I'm using weird, obscure colors just to show the depth. It's easier to comprihend than using skin tones, I think :P Ignore the instructions at the bottom about riddles. If you really read all this, comment what tutorial you would want next from me :) Also, if you can't tell, this drawing is a lot less than perfect XD DRAW YOUR FACIAL FEATURES FIRST I REPEAT!!!!!! I didn't draw the lips very well, or even really finish the eyes/eyebrows but whatever. But I hope this tutorial helped you to kind of figure out how to shade faces at least :P Who knows? Maybe in a few months, I'll make another tutorial on this that is a lot more detailed :) Thanks for reading! If you read all the way to the bottom, comment your favorite riddle and see if I can solve it :D
Used @ExperienceSea's tutorial! Though I may need to practice them facial features some more ^u^ Reminds me of like, the evil stepsisters from Disney's Cinderella. Maybe it's the oversized nose and the eye shape?? the original sketch was better *cries* but it's good practice it was originally my awkward bab (tho actually he needs glasses but ye)
