This is the Story of Jadepaw, following the same path as Cinderpelt. When her leg gets hit by a car, her mentor Brackenfur, gets the medic. They find out she won't be able to continue her warrior duties and is forced to take the path of a medicine cat. It's especially hard when her mentor gets caught up and stops visiting her with his mate and kits. How will Jadepaw manage the hard, cooped up life of a medicine cat when she got the taste of hunting and fighting?
