Press the arrow keys or WASD to move Jurry around. Click Jurry's backpack to open your inventory. There is a glitch where Jurry will sink through the floor and get stuck there. I've programmed the game to kill Jurry and restart the level when that happens. If it happens too many times, restart the game. I kind gave up after a while.
