As she was growing up she never knew that she had powers within her, her mother was burnt to death by a dragon which made her confused as to why she was part dragon. She was deformed when she was born, half of her skin is dragon scales while the other half is human skin. The emerald she is wearing around her neck is what she believes will be able to transform her into an actual dragon like her mother told her when she was younger.
