I decided to redo my tutorial on hands because the last one was literally like "draw a circle and fingers, tada" lol. I hope this one was better. I'm working on one for animal anatomy next (specifically cats). and yes, i was hungry while making this, hence the food related drawings. *^*
All art and scripting is by me. The song is "Oh Ms. Believer" by Twenty One Pilots. I kind of want to make a lyric project for it, what do you think? ALSo sorry if you can't read the writing, my handwriting is literally a weird mix of cursive and print.. I know, it's messy for a person that's been drawing for 14 years. In case you can't read it, here's the transcript thingy... 1st SLIDE: So, a while ago I made a Scratch tutorial on HANDS. It's still up if you want to check it out, but looking back on it, it's really not an in-depth tutorial and it really wasn't that helpful. So, today, I'm going to redo it, but more step-by-step. 2nd SLIDE: This comes down entirely to artistic choice, but for the sake of this tutorial, we're going with realistic hands. 3rd SLIDE: In art, it's important to remember that everything is made up of shapes. Start by drawing a loose circle. 4th SLIDE: Now, sketch in an outline for the fingers. 5th SLIDE: Now, draw the fingers. Keep in mind the length of the fingers, then adjust it to keep the proportions of a hand. The palm should be just a tad longer than the fingers. (I have never gotten the anatomy right without readjusting it) 6th SLIDE: The thumbs are next. They should start at the wrist and end where the fingers start. 7th SLIDE: Now you can bend this to draw whatever hand you want! 8th SLIDE: If you're unsure how to draw something, USE REFERENCES! Use your own hand, a picture from Google, etc. It'll make your drawing SO much better, trust me.
