THE FIRST PART IS VERY SIMPLE BUT IT THEN GOES INTO THE MAIN PARTS. Just enable turbo mode and click the green flag, and press 'd'. Then just listen. IF THE ORGAN COMES IN TOO LATE, just press the green flag then 'd' again. The way I get it running best is to minimise the browser I'm using this in and just have the desktop showing. It, however, could be different for other people. When the project is not playing and is stopped, you can press the space bar and listen to the song from a section and on. There are sections 1-4.
I thought I'd just share this now as it's just been sitting in 'My Stuff' for some days now. So basically I downloaded a MIDI file of this hymn a while back and a couple of weeks ago I decided that I would try and create it in Scratch 1.4. I started doing that, but then switched it to 2.0. It does work on 1.4 if you enable turbo mode though edit > set single stepping. MIDI file can be downloaded at: http://breadsite.org/midi/amazing_grace.mid Just as I looked for this MIDI file and downloaded it, I realised I had transposed the one I made in scratch by 2 semi-tones. It didn't matter to much but in my opinion it sounded better in it's original key, so I changed some of my scripts which took an extra half an hour as I had to make sure I had typed the ones I needed to in correctly.
